For a nice creamy lip gloss, you will need:
2 teaspoons finely grated beeswax (you can find this at most craft stores)
2 tablespoons oil (coconut or almond oil is best, which can be purchased at most health food stores)
1 teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon powder eye shadow, crushed up
2 clean, dry containers (try to use old lip gloss pots or tubes that have been well cleaned)
To make:
In a small saucepan over low heat, stir together beeswax and oil until smooth.
After removing from hot burner, add in the honey and the vanilla.
Allow mixture to cool a bit.
Stir in eye shadow and mix well until blended.
After mixture has cooled completely, transfer to clean containers with a spoon.
*You can put the mixture in the refrigerator, but make sure to keep an eye on it!
Set aside finished product for a few hours to allow for best results.
