When I was a child, I remember my mom would always go all out for us on Easter. She’d buy my brother and I fancy outfits (hats always included!), decorate the house with adorable bunnies and chicks, and gift us with the most stellar Easter basket you could ever imagine. Our baskets were filled with everything from jellybeans, nail polish to toys we’d been begging for and more.
Needless to say, I haven’t been able to quite top my mom just yet — but I’m working on it.
This year I’m taking a cue from her and working to build the Easter basket of my little one’s desire (I’d plan for my son as well, but I think his soon to be 13-year-old self is feeling too cool and over it at this point). When putting together her basket this time, I’m keeping in mind how much she loves pink and purple, and her obsession with Disney Princesses.
Here’s how you, too, can create the Easter basket of your princess’s dreams.
Purchase an adorable basket, like this Easter Pink Felt Bunny Basket.
Fill it up with some traditional Easter candies and chocolate, if you so desire. You can also opt for healthier options. My mom was known for adding boxes of raisins or other dried fruit, in addition to the beloved Easter bunny-shaped chocolate.
Add a touch of sparkle and beauty with this Disney Princess Cosmetic Set, Hair Clip Set, and Lip Gloss Set, all from TownleyGirl! Not only will she be excited to see her fellow princesses in her basket, she’ll also have the chance to fancy up her outfit even more with her super cute makeup and hair items.
You can feel free to add anything else you think your precious girl will love! Otherwise, voila, you’re all done with the Easter basket that’s sure to make your princess beam from ear-to-ear with delight.
